ECCO Climate Diplomacy Programme aims to influence the positions and relations of the actors of global climate action, in particular within multilateral processes such United Nations, G7 and G20 negotiations, and more. Every year, ECCO participates in the UN Climate Change Conference as an accredited organisation. It also cooperates internationally with think tanks and partners from all over the world.
The Climate Diplomacy Programme also deals with the relations between ECCO and international organisations, foreign and EU representations based in Italy.
Italy can count on considerable material resources, skills and knowledge that can play a decisive role in the fight against climate change on a global level. To make the most of this potential, it is essential that Italy proactively participates in the international forums in which it is involved.
