Silvia is a Senior Policy Advisor with extensive expertise in global governance, in particular G7/G20, with professional experiences within the Italian Presidencies of the G8, G7 and G20 and the G20 Presidency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

She is the Director of the Environment Program of the Italian Buddhist Union and she has been International negotiator for the Ministry of the Environment and Territory Protection for 4 years. She has worked at the Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri (Prime Minister’s Office), with a coordinating role for the G8, for 5 years, for the United Nations, for 2 years. She directed the Rome office of the European Council on Foreign Relations for 9 years. He has worked for various international organizations, including OECD, the European Commission and the WTO.

She holds a Masters in International Environmental Law from the University of London (SOAS) and a Masters in International Environmental Law from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands. She studied at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. She is a “cultore della materia ( Subject Expert) in International Law and she graduated cum laude in Law.
