Federico has been working in the fields of energy and international relations since 2014. Before joining ECCO, he spent nine years working for the French Ministry of Economy and the French Embassy in Rome, where he oversaw bilateral relations between Italy and France on energy and sustainable development policies.
At ECCO, Federico initially worked as a Foreign Policy Analyst and is now involved in diplomacy, closely following climate negotiations (participating as an observer at COPs) and representing the think tank with diplomatic missions, foreign delegations and international organisations in Italy.
Federico holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste (Gorizia campus). During his studies, he was able to focus on the foreign policy aspects of energy and climate issues, enhanced by two university exchanges in Paris (INALCO and Sciences Po).
