Filomena Annunziata

Filomena Annunziata is a Researcher Mediterranean Policy at ECCO. 

Filomena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oriental and African Languages and Cultures from the University of Naples L’Orientale, and is currently pursuing a joint Master’s degree at the University of Tübingen and the American University of Cairo in Comparative Middle Eastern Politics, with a thesis on the Moroccan energy transition. 

Prior to joining ECCO, she worked in international cooperation and social inclusion, and from 2021, has specialised on the topics of energy transition, climate change, mitigation and adaptation policies in countries on the southern shore of the Mediterranean.
