The European elections will take place in the 27 Member States from 6 to 9 June 2024.

The new legislature will lead the European Union towards the end of a critical decade, in which the effects of climate change will have to be contained. This is a key moment for climate policy in the region.

The five-year mandate of the new legislature will thus be crucial in continuing the transition path that was initiated with the European Green Deal. Moreover, the new legislature will be fundamental in ensuring economic as well as energy security, social wealth, industrial competitiveness and in respecting the commitments defined by international agreements on climate.

This page aims to serve as a guide in the path towards the next European Elections by providing analyses, reflections, examinations and updates on the scenarios that might characterise the next EU legislature.
