Costanza Scano works as Researcher in Industrial Transformation at ECCO.

She joined ECCO as an intern, working on her master’s thesis in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies for Circular Economy at the University of Padua. Her thesis, titled “Hydrogen: Technologies, Policies, and Strategies”, explored hydrogen as an energy carrier. She earned her Master of Science in December 2024, following a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Sapienza University of Rome in 2022.

At ECCO, Costanza focuses on analyzing industrial processes and regulations, with an emphasis on decarbonization pathways. Her work includes identifying innovative technological solutions and assessing regulatory frameworks at both national and international levels.

Combining her strong academic background in chemistry with a passion for sustainable innovation, Costanza provides technical expertise and strategic insights to support research and initiatives aimed at driving the industrial transformation toward sustainability.
